Sit your practical test in a fully insured, dual-control academy car, with a warm-up lesson beforehand.
What this coversPrices are per lesson in Australian dollars and current as at September 2026. Lesson length and availability are confirmed when you book.
Each lesson is paid for on the day. No block bookings, no deposit, and nothing to cancel if you decide you have had enough lessons.
Whichever suits you. There is no card surcharge because there is no card terminal, and no booking platform taking a cut.
Booking is a WhatsApp message. Nobody pays for the privilege of asking whether a time is free.
The per-lesson price is the easy number. What people really want to know is what they will spend in total, and that comes down to four things.
How much you practise between lessons. This is the single biggest factor and it is the one nobody wants to hear. A learner driving regularly with a supervising driver needs far fewer paid lessons than someone whose only time behind the wheel is the lesson itself. Paid hours are for correcting and teaching, not for accumulating hours.
What you are starting from. Someone converting an overseas licence after ten years of driving is not learning to drive, they are unlearning specific habits, and that is usually a short and targeted piece of work. Someone who has never driven is on a longer road, and that is fine.
Whether you are working toward a test date. Preparing for a booked practical test is more focused than general lessons, because the syllabus is set by what gets marked. It also tends to be more intensive, and several students have fitted a full conversion into a single week.
Honesty about readiness. Sitting a test you are not ready for costs the test fee, the car hire and the wait for another slot, which is far more than the lesson that would have told you to wait. If you are not ready, you will be told.
After a first lesson you will get a straight estimate of how many more you are likely to need. It is an estimate rather than a quote, because anyone promising an exact number before watching you drive is guessing.
Tell us which lesson type you need and roughly where you are based, and you will get a straight answer the same day.
