U-Turn
Turning to face the other way in one movement
Only do a U-turn where it is legal and you have a clear view both ways.
- Move close to the centre line and slow down
- Check mirrors, signal right for 5 seconds, check your blind spot
- Make sure there is a completely clear gap in both directions
- Turn smoothly in one movement, watching the far kerb so you do not mount it
- Straighten up in the correct lane and cancel the signal
