Moving Off
Pulling away from the kerb safely
The five second signal here is the all time favourite immediate fail item, so do not rush it.
- Check your mirror
- Signal to the right and hold it for a full 5 seconds
- Select Drive
- Check the centre mirror and your blind spot
- Release the handbrake when it is clear
- Ease on the accelerator and cancel the signal
