Stopping
Pulling over and securing the car
Use this every time you bring the car to rest at the kerb.
- Choose a safe, legal place to stop
- Check your mirror and signal to the left
- Slow down and stop smoothly, parallel to and within 300mm of the kerb
- Apply the handbrake
- Move the gear selector to Park
- Cancel the signal

Learn this one in the car.
Reading it helps. Doing it with someone watching, in a car with a second brake, is what makes it stick.
Learner to P training
